Windows users can obtain a free copy of the expander at the Aladdin web site. Savings to me is the cost of disk space and the savings to you will be a smaller file and shorter download times.

Tips and Tricks used by FileMaker Pros targeted for beginner and intermediate developers. These FMP 5.x demo files are taken from mail list subscriber contributions, many of which are contained in the FMPCALCS database below, and address the most frequently asked questions on the lists.

This series features a new work around to the limited FMP OPEN file command step (open one file per command step accepting no file name by field value) by using a web browser to open the demo files. The MAININDEX.FP5 allows you to add your own demo files and write the data to a MAININDEX.HTM web page. A Help page shows you how to setup your Netscape or Internet Explorer browser.
