This was a 3 day adventure to Victoria, BC., leaving from Seattle's Lake Union and flying in a Kenmore Air float plane to Victoria Harbor. We walked the one plus mile to Laurel Point Hotel, dragging a wheeled suitcase, toting cameras, gawking at the beautiful architecture and looking very much like tourists.

Victoria is a clean, beautiful city filled with friendly locals and tourist alike. Places visited in the city included; walks up Wharf, Government, Belleville, and Douglas Streets; Charles Dickens Pub (fish'n'chips), Crystal Gardens, IMAX (Everest), Royal Columbia British Museum, Royal London Wax Museum; lots and lots of gift stores.

We rented a car and drove 15 miles north to Butchart Gardens, our favorite visit spending about 3 hours walking the garden. Returning, we stopped at the Victoria Butterfly Gardens. We left a few places such as the Victoria Art Gallery, Empress Hotel and Craigdarroch Castle for a return visit. Be prepared to do plenty of walking and eating.

All pictures taken with an Olympus D-620L digital camera and enhanced using Photoshop. JAVASCRIPT MUST BE TURNED ON TO VIEW PICTURES!
