Olympia Rain Forest - Washington
The Olympia, Hoh Rain Forest, is about 18 miles off rout 101 and is very wet, very dark, but a very pretty place to visit. Plan to do some hiking on the local trails and to camp somewhere else to stay out of the rain. We found several good campgrounds south of the rain forest at Lake Quinault, south shore.
